Refunds and Cancellations

Cancellations:

You can cancel at any time, by logging in to your PayPal account. NOTE it would be a human decency to talk with your tutor before you cancel, so they know and understand that you want to cancel and why (they would most likely appreciate the feedback to help them improve).

There is no long term contract other than what you have personally agreed with your tutor. Notwithstanding, you can cancel at any point, to cancel any future payments. After cancellation, all learning material will cease to be available after the paid-for period has expired.

Refunds:

Face-To-Face and Live Lessons:

In any event, all refunds are at the control and discretion of the tutor. TutorTube will only get involved in the refund decision process if there is any allegation of impropriety, non-performance or discpute. Note that legally and technically TutorTube does not have the power to initiate refunds.

Where you have paid for face-to-face lessons (ie where you are physically in the same room as the tutor) and/or Live lessons (where you learn in real-time, at the same time as the tutor delivers the learning material, the content is considered delivered as soon as that lesson time has ended, where the lesson was scheduled to occur.

Online ‘Replay’ Lessons and Content:
Where you have paid for online content, it is considered delivered as soon as it is made available to you by the tutor and/or TutorTube system.

Because the tutor’s time has been used, within Face-to-Face and Live lessons, refunds are generally not possible, unless there has been some element of impropriety or non-performance by the tutor. Refunds can be given pro-rata for unused/undelivered lessons which have been pre-paid for. If a lesson was paid for but not attended for whatever reason, the tutor may decide to give you a refund, an effective credit-note for an alternative lesson or otherwise, at the tutor’s sole discretion.

With Online ‘Replay’ lessons and content, where this is given as an ‘extra’ to Face-To-Face and Live lessons, delivered content cannot be refunded.

With Online ‘Replay’ lessons and content, where this is not given as an ‘extra’ to Face-To-Face and Live lessons, you are entitled to a refund for the last paid-for period, where content has not been excessively consumed, at the tutor’s sole discretion.

If the account is terminated for breach of contract, no refund shall be given.
